Happy Holidays And Merry Christmas Y'all! It's not cold AT ALL here in Dallas but I wasn't gonna let that stop me from creating a 'cozy' holiday look.
One of my goals for the upcoming new year is to thrift more! It's good for the wallet and the environment! This outfit features this beautiful blush red dress I picked up at Est. 1914, a great new vintage shop in Oak Cliff which I actually wrote about for The Dallas Observer. (You can read my article here.) I am obsessed with the gold square buttons. This dress is originally from Neiman Marcus so you know it's A1 quality.
Vintage sizes run small so your girl BARELY fit in this even though the tag says it's a size 8, but boy am I glad I squeezed in there! This dress is just that lovely that I am willing to work with sleeves that only just reach my wrist. Sometimes you gotta make concessions when thrifting!
Paired with a pink beret, black boots, and a cute fuzzy white purse, I felt Parisian chic walking around downtown Fort Worth in this number. (There is a Paris, Texas sooo....)
Maybe I can rock this look in the actual Paris, France in 2017? Here's to the power of manifestation!
